Welcome to my blog about my time in Kuwait. I am funded by a Fulbright Fellowship courtesy of the US Department of State. I write about what I am observing, learning, and perceiving in Kuwait and the Middle East at large. Prior to coming to Kuwait in Dec. 2006, I studied Arabic for 4 months in Damscus, Syria on a Fulbright Language Enhancement Award. I will remain in Kuwait until the end of 2006.
